Games Design
Aiding in the design, development and polish of levels, interactions, collisions and puzzle mechanics.
This included the implementation and animation set up of interactables, manually adding and altering collisions in levels, bug-fixing and polishing Generator puzzle mechanics etc.
Narrative Design
Reworking and polishing the flow and structure of branching paths.
Adding branching dialogue options and taking consideration of previous choices and consequences, missing characters etc. in the construction and flow of narrative segments.
Using in-house narrative design software.
Set up and polish of QTEs and QTE timings.
Cinematic Design
Editing the timing and composition of shots and sequences.
Aiding the Virtual Camera team by processing and restructuring data and implementation to fit their workflow.
This involved full reconstructions of chapter branching, sequence construction and animation data implementation to account for a change in pipeline
Required fast turn around and mastery of in-house systems, and the ability to clearly communicate changes to production and camera teams.
